From resolutions to real life: here’s to 2026!

For many of us, the New Year represents a time to hit reset, plan adventures, try new things… or maybe just find comfort in returning to our routines after the festive blur.
When it comes to resolution-setting, we reckon any time is a good time to try new things or set new goals – why wait to celebrate what you love to do? But there’s no denying that New Year has long represented that moment – and if that’s what works for you, we’re all for it!
The tradition of making New Year’s resolutions goes way back. From the Babylonians who resolved to return borrowed farming tools and repay debts in around 2000 BC, to the Romans who made vows to improve their behaviour and offered gifts for a fresh start, and the medieval knights who would renew their vow to chivalry. The New Year has long provided a perfect opportunity to reset.
So, have you thought about your goals for 2026? Are you thinking about taking up a new hobby? Or have you got a particular event that you’re working towards with your music, craft or sport? Is this year going to be the year you get better at making time for you? We’d love to hear about it!
As for us, 2026 will be packed with light-hearted cheekiness in our wardrobe - that signature Bourne vibe - and we’ll be attending events to spread the love, too! Be part of our social community to see where we’ll pop up next and keep telling us what you love (or what we could improve!) - we’re always listening.
From a personal point of view, we’ll continue on our fitness journey – getting stronger, having fun and loving every minute of training together. Here’s to a great 2026! May it bring you growth, purpose, and plenty of time doing what you love! 🎉
Lots of love,
Fran & Michelle 💕
