Valentine’s Day – a beautiful opportunity to show someone you love them… or commercial nonsense that’s been carried away by marketing hype?
I mean, gestures of love can be made any time, right? But there is something undeniably romantic about February 14, isn’t there?
Traditionally, the day is linked to St Valentine, a figure celebrated as far back as the 3rd century. Over time, his feast day became associated with handwritten notes, tokens of affection, and the idea of choosing a “valentine” - a custom that took hold in medieval Europe and blossomed into the celebration we know today.
So, what’s your view?
Us, we’re all for it, of course! Any excuse to celebrate love and we’re there!
Last year, we introduced a special collection in celebration of Valentine’s Day – designs that went just slightly beyond our usual celebration of the hobbies and passions we love. And we’re excited to have brought them back for 2026. Reintroducing Sew Much Love, Love to Grow and Making Sweet Music 🩷… they’re back to bring some warmth and heart to your February.
Too sickly sweet? Well check out all our other fabulous designs – we have no doubt that you’ll find something perfect for the ultimate gardener, crafter, musician or fitness fiend… and if you can’t, we’ll create you something bespoke. What’s not to love?!
Sending you all lots of love – curmudgeons and Valentine enthusiasts alike! 😂
